A pirate theme would be cool, though certain posters would, I fear, be unable to refrain from overusing 'walk the plank' style pirate jokes.

Jam: True, taking a bit of time for me to get used to that. I'm familiar with, say, 4 Mafia in a 22 person game all working together, which evens the odds for their side rather considerably.

Nah, it makes it into a mafia team. The mafia as a team then win, so it's in their interest to kill lots and lots of vilagers, before the back stabbing is even considered.
It also makes for some interesting tactics like killing mafia who are getting too much suspicion - "See he can't have been mafia, he's dead now. It must be Thighburn who also fits the clues." etc.Play hangman.Comment
