Spaced! God, did you not read my post before? Now Spikey might be able to win. I was hoping that he'd guess first, and then be unable to next round, when it was obvious.

Seriously do you still not understand the rules. Whether someone guesses first or second in one set of 2 guesses makes no difference - neither can guess a letter in the next set. Also, word guesses are valid even if you have guessed in the previous set.

I am going to have to think of a way of rewriting them to make them idiot proof.

Rules:
1. 10 guesses.
2. Updates will occur in sets of 2, and must be posted within 24 hours of each other.
3. Any guesses after 2 have occured since the last update will be ignored.
4. You cannot pick a letter in two consecutive sets of 2.
5. You can guess the word at any time, but guessing incorrectly eliminates you from play.
6. Incorrect word guesses also count as losing a life.
7. Words must be 5 or more letters.

May I suggest you change the wording of 4 for us idiots? To something like "You can only pick one letter in two consecutive sets of 2" perhaps. No matter how I read your number 4 I think one is not forbidden to pick two letters all together as long as he does not pick a letter "in two consecutive sets of 2".
