This last story was quite reminiscent of The Name of the Rose. Without spoiling the novel for those who have not read it (highly recommended), the character who most closely matches the killer in that book is already dead.

what we need is some sense and reason to prevail tonight...... if it is vampires in our midst then we should all shelter in the church for sanctuary.... i shall be there if any or all of you should wish to join me....

Well, in addtion to giving clues to thier identity in each round (and in every round) I have to put a heap of false trails in to balance things out. Now... if the villagers only react to the last set of clues, the chances are that another false trail will be taken. Look at the last game. Only in the final round did Doc put it all together to vote for ADG, by looking at all the clues from previous rounds.
Ah well, the longer the killers live, the more letters, notes and book-extracts I get to type
