Which is the problem. Love the RP of the angels though. I want to try a female PC, having a lesbian romance with Chloe, and an all female party. That would be fun
However atm, my Tutu party has just hit the first Cloakwood map. They're tooled up, having now bought everything I'll want to in the game, and they rock. Minsc and my PC have ACs of -4, neither using shields. My PC is a level 5 Ranger, does 5/2 hits per round, with THACO's of 10 and 13, with a +2 Warhammer and a +1 Mace, and get's a bonus +6 to damage each hit (strength plus bracers), meaning he does between 25.5 and 35 damage per round, when he hits, which ismost of the time. For BGI, that's insanely powerful Plus the fact that he has 75% stealth and a speed factor of 2, means he can creep up behind someone, and often get two hits in before they have a chance to retaliate. He rarely get's harmed.
Having 3 members of my party able to hide in the shadows is quite new, but it does mean if I want to spend the time (which I usually don't) I can do most fights without the opponent having a chance to hit me. Especially with Khalid having a THACO of 9 with his bow, 5/2 attacks and +3 to damage. It may just be me, but when he's fighting quite a few small creatures, he looks kinda like Legolas from LotR
Has anyone tried playign through BG with a LotR character set? A dwarfen fighter, an elven archer, a human mage, a human ranger and a couple of halfling thieves. Could be a laugh
