  • Sent. I even used the correct turn number this time.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

We could have, but now that you've announced it probably not.

      • Actually, I'm not sure I want to accellerate at the moment.

Perhaps the +1 off the slipstream should depend on a die roll too.

            • Slipstream doesn't accelerate you though, it just gets you 1 square ahead for "free". You will still be going the same speed next turn however.

We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

And to the WC yeah it's a bummer. Those that started on the left seem to be at a disadvantage though, since without that wildcard I wouldnt get to the optimal line.

Now I have all the time in the world.
I tried hard on the track design to make it as fair as possible, especially after my rant the last game about how unfair my start was. (even though I eventually won the race)

It was possible to get optimal without using a WC but I figured that only one would have to be used at most. It was still as even as I could make it. And the starting positions were randomized, so it would be hard to make it much fairer. So any disadavantage was minor at best.

AND NO using the S command as a result of a crash. If you are still in the same relative position next turn, then you may do it.

I did, but I was worried you'd use a wildcard to move further right, which may well cause a crash. For me to do anything other than what I have would involve me using an extra wildcard on the turn.

                    • Wow 6 orders for turn 7 already submitted. Too bad Jonny doesn't check in earlier.

And Drogue, those types of decisions will become the norm for this section of the track and one other which is even tighter.

Hopefully the track/rule were designed to keep everyone somewhat close.

                      • Unless rah's designed a massive track, then you can look forward to a particularly evil hairpin coming up quite soon. That will definitely be one for the crowds to keep an eye on. The great leveller? We'll see when the cars reach it.

                        • I know Just thought I'd tell SC, in case he wants to not crash I want to save some wildcards for the second lap.

Says the guy that quite blatantly got away with a crash that was engineered on at least one side.

Yeah I saw the start, and the rant. I thought it was quite funny.

Fair enough on the randomness comment, and tbh its Jamski's driving thats the real issue and I can't blame that on the track.
