The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I see a theme as i;ve never really embraced the idea of 3D RPG.
Apparently the just-canceled Fallout 3 would have been in 3d .

Really? I never saw that info anywhere... Could be just me, though, as I didn't follow the development of the game too closely.
I still wonder if that thing Urquhart said about the former BIs developers buying the game rights from Interplay has any substance behind it... If that were the case, then maybe not all is lost for F3.
EDIT: Ohhhh! I now remember a couple screenies of Fallout 3 I saw and they indeed looked sorta 3D-ish, but I think the game still preserved the sort of isometric look to it...

I was thinking about this tonight. I'd really like to see some good MMOGs, period. But more specifically, a game like WW2online with futuristic weapons - mechs and stuff - would be awsome. It'd have to be better thought out then WW2online, of course, and have more signifigant objectives on the strategic level, and perhaps customizable vehicles and weapon loads, ect... I don't actually know much about the warhammer universe, but that might be a good candidate to base it on.
You could do a lot worse than basing it on the BattleTech universe. It has been in development for years, giving it a very rich history, and a diverse world.
You could be one of the Mech warriors.

I just hope Al Lowe gets to work on this one. The last time he talked about this, they were negotiating if he should make this game or if someone else should do the humour part of the game
A new TBS, not necessarily Civ 4, but which incorporates the best elements of the biggies, i.e.:
Civ 3's strategic and luxury resources, traits, and unique units
SMAC's planetary council, unit workshop, social engineering, and "flavor" (quotes, movies, etc.)
CtP 2's stacked combat and public works
GalCiv's diplomatic model
It would also be nice to have multilateral negotiations and alliances.

for Larry coming back.
It would be good to see "Jefferson" and Fallout 3 both rise from the wreckage of Black Isle if at all possible.
System Shock 3
More RPG's using the ToEE engine but with much better plot.
A decent Middle Earth strategy game.
Something akin to Guynemers' ultimate TBS
Any MMOG that didn't bore me to tears after 3 months.
To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.
H.Poincaré
Planescape Torment sequel (just the same setting) or prequel (yes, with TNO, possibly with his practical incarnation).
Civ4 - make it good
SMAC/BRAC 2 PLEASE!!!!!
Mo4 - make it with more sense
Jagged Alliance 3
Deus Ex 3 - make a good sequel
Editor for Kotor
and possibly a sequel
Star Trek: Birth of Federation 2
MP 3
more RPG games!
and yes a new Monkey Island and a new Discworld!
and Morrowind style multiplayer game too

Civ4
Starcraft3
Silent Service3
A real new X-Com game, really TBS (UFO:Aftermath was cool, but not exactly what I want)
And I hope the Pirates will not suck.....

I'd like to see a space 4X game with a twist; all the players start on the same planet, which eventually becomes a Coruscant-style city planet, with far more economic potential than any other world. Do you seek to explore the universe and gain riches that way, or build up your influence on the homeworld? An advanced system of colonization would also be used, involving claims, treaties, mandates, etc, that would end the all too common 'settler diarrhoea'.

That sounds like a really interesting idea, actually.
