  • Yay A game I've never played, but heard discussed before on another site. DoY's steel thing made me think he might be onto something

    Ok, my go then

Clue one: One of the first games I ever played. Released in the late 80s by Sega. Was pretty revolutionary for the time, and has spawned quite a few sequels/spin-offs.

For though he was master of the world, he was not quite sure what to do next
But he would think of something

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                • No to all. The clues will get easier, I just didn't want to give it away very early.

Clue one: One of the first games I ever played. Released in the late 80s by Sega. Was pretty revolutionary for the time, and has spawned quite a few sequels/spin-offs.

Clue two: There were some quite advanced (for the time) animation in the cut sequences, that had definite Anime influences (if not actually considered Anime).

Incorrect guesses: Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog, Outrun, Double Dragon, Blades of Steel, Gauntlet, Final Fantasy I...

                  • Hmm, not my strong point, but how about the original Final Fantasy?
