Not liking a game because of its graphics scheme is, IMO, silly. That'd be like hating Civ2 because the graphics sucked for its time (and they did). I play for the gameplay. The graphics are just extra.

Unless, of course, it's a sim, or a 3d-shooter of some sort.

This is exactly my point, thank you! Isometric on an RPG just didn't work for me.

So one man's silliness is another man's idiosyncrasy.

That's silly as well. I mean I'd play System Shock 2 these days even if the graphics aren't as great as Doom 3.

You miss out on a LOT of great games once you decide graphics can be a reason not to play (unless they literally make you sick).

Of course, but good graphics are a plus.

Depends on what type of system you own .

I agree. I typically don't avoid a game based on its graphics. Older graphics don't bother me either, but just Fo2's did.

This I don't understand. How are Fallout's graphics illness inducing? I've never even heard that one before!

Then we're at a 'tangent of perceptions', discussion over.

                  But here: http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/446/446316p1.html

Looks like the original devs are trying to buy the rights.
