that looks like it. It looks familiar
Like I said, it was like the only racing game I had (we were poor- and most of our games weren't "bought"). We used to have a whole bunch of games on one diskette. Though some games were larger like Summer game I and II. I think those took 1 (or 2 sides) diskettes each.
This is also the last racing game I was every any good at . As I explained in another thread, I'm a good driver in real life, but suck at racing games. GTA3 I suck at driving. And my brother had a racing game for the X-box I wasn't very good at.
This game I remember your tires would get these lines on them indicating how much wear they had on them. And you could change tires pit stops and such. Fun game.

Yup, that's right! My brother and I played this one a lot, great fun! We would try to destroy each others' tyres when we were neck to neck. Somehow, he always managed to tear mine up without getting a scratch. It never worked the other way around... A bug?

You can´t have been that poor if you could afford a diskdrive. I had to do with good old fashioned cassette tapes and save up for a drive in the meantime.
Later on the money I saved went into buying an Amiga 500. So I guess it worked out in the end.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
