OK here are the answers to the original question:
top left: Missile Command (1980)
top right: Bard's Table (1987)
bottom left: Mule (1983)
bottom right: R-Type (1987)
It was R-Type that inspired me. I saw it's picture and suddenly remembered what a cool game that was to play. I thought very few others played it, but amazingly it was at #16 in the following list.
Again, close, but no. I would normally think that such close guesses as Grand Prix Whatever would constitute the right answer, but since Main_Brain already provided a dead-giveaway hint that the command to run it is GP... No. Gotta get that last bit right.
Oh, and thanks everybody for the help with explaining the upload service. Overwhelming, I really don't have words enough to thank ya' all!
So, how does it work? I did upload the pic somewhere, God knows where, but how do I get it from wherever it is into a post? Or do you all simply take them directly from your hard drive?
when I mentioned World Circuit (which, incidentally is aka Grand Prix, the very first one), I was not referring to the game whose pic was posted by vovan. I was just taken by good memories from those times... playing GP till the wee hours in the morning...
