  • poor Matt...i think you just aren't meant to play SC4 and should send it to me
<Kassiopeia> you don't keep the virgins in your lair at a sodomising distance from your beasts or male prisoners. If you devirginised them yourself, though, that's another story. If they devirginised each other, then, I hope you had that webcam running.
Play Bumps! No, wait, play Slings!

And don't forget to send the computer to Datajack

Although I'll be able to buy a new one within the end of the week; should I go visit granny and squeeze her like a sponge?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

      • I can't deselect those squares. My two choices are to quit and loose an hour of work or rebuild the millions of $ worth of city.

Ahh, the joy that is the discovery of the escape button

You can't near ramps, nor diagonal but AFAIK trains can run under highways.
You can use subway to go under them too btw

          • Does that mean that you can tunnel the Railroad, and not use some stupid gizmos ala SC3000? (

            • Never really played SC3000, so can't give you an answer on that one I'm affraid.

However, Groundlevel RR can link up with Subway and back to level RR

              • What's the deal with the difficulty levels? I just got Rush Hour and started a new city on medium, assuming that was the same difficulty as before, but I seemed to be making a ton of easy money. Is there that much of a difference between the difficulty levels? I know it doesn't matter in a game like Sim City, but it kind of irks me that not everyone is playing the same game anymore. The difficulty levels should just effect starting money.

This way, I can always play on easy, and not feel ashamed of it. ( I enjoy the building of the city, not some fake challenge )

                    • The main difference in difficulty levels are:

                      Higher demand,
                      Bigger percentage on abandonment

                              Killer machine?

Get more RAM, really, 512 is becoming the bare minimum
(buy 512 modules, makes it easier to upgrade and are currently cheaper the 2 X 256)

Go for the maxtor 160 GB, 8mb ram HD, best value for money ATM

                              FX5200 128 is DX8right? should be ok

Why not go for a DVD rom writer.

Budgets are a hassle aren't they

BTW: did you go for a new MB? if so check if it supports SATA drives. Not performance wise (yet) but easier to install (cables).

                                Sure they are

Of course I'd like to have the money to buy an orgasmic computer- but I still have a kidney just as good as new, maybe that would do the trick? Who needs blood purification when you can play Simcity!
