You are not a master yet young FP.

Just think of all the posts you could have made in clues after thinking of a game.

        • I don't think it's necessary to actually be the quizmaster of a round in order to get [+1] opportunities. As I believe we are now ably demonstrating.

          You're up Nikolai.

            Year: Mid 90's
An artillery combat game. Can be played with up to nine players at a time, mixing humans and AI. If you win, you can buy better weapons(some are quite devastating), guidance systems and defence systems.

            • Hmm... Sounds a little like Charr, except for the fact, that you can only play it 8 players... and it was earlier...
This space is empty... or is it?

We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

                • The game is freeware, and is made for DOS. You have one tank for each player, and the goal is to kill the other tanks by finding the right angle and shooting power. This is however, affected by wind, that changes for each turn.

                  • I remember this game...........Worms got all the credit but this game was the true innovator.

                    Was it called Scorched Earth?

Wrong... Scorced Earth was only playable 4 players... though it might be a Scorced Earth clone... and the original Scorched Earth was earlier than Charr, and (as mentioned above) Charr was earlier than mid 90's...

                            • I don't have a release date for Scorched Earth though, but I remember playing it in 1993, and at that time it was already old (As far as I know)
