Probably - but it would be great to see them go down.

it would b funny, but more of a loss to the prem than teams like birmingham or bolton.

in other news, yeovil won 6-1 today against burton albion, should really have gone to see it, but i'm too skint really :/

Leeds will be in division one next season anyway as they are going into administration. That makes a team drop a division. get relegated? Then they'll be in division two as a result.

                    What does "in administration" mean?

yeah i'm sure one the clubs in div1 (ipswich rings a bell?) has been in administration and hasn't been auto-relegated.

It's like being bankrupt, as their finances go down the proverbial toilet - they have up to £80 million in debt IIRC...

The pressure to succeed in the Premiership is so huge that clubs have been paying astronomical sums such as £30m just to buy a player - not including his wage, which are easily £40k/wk these days.

Too many clubs walk a financial tightrope of barely balancing the books and if you're not successful enough (Cup competitions & European football etc) you can't cover the costs of failure.

When West Ham go down at the end of the season, it will cost us about £15m in lost TV rights - we will have to sell some of our best players just to stay afloat.

Hopefully Leeds are in as bad sh*te as Nimmy says and maybe we might stay up after all with this precedent...

                          Au revoir, Hammers...
Careful - I might start supporting your team next just to spite you!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Strange, it looks like competitive buggery to me...
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.
