I hope West Ham stay up. They do play attractive football and they have one of the better team songs. Manchester United and their supporters are a pack of glory hunting ****ers. The Arse are clearly the lesser of two evils (unless you're a Spurs supporter, and who in their right mind would be?).

This season turned out pretty well for me: Newcastle played well and look to be improving each year and Sunderland were relegated.

      Sunderland were relegated!

I did hope in my wildest dreams that Newcastle could simultaneously win the league and relegate Sunderland when they play in a few weeks (I think it's at the Stadium of ****e too, even better )

This not so nice nickname shouldn't be blown out of proportion considering West Ham are called 'Cockney Scum', teams from Liverpool are 'Scouse Gits', Man Utd is 'Manure', and northern teams in general have the catch all of 'Northern Bastards' etc...
Yes, but none of those have blatantly racist overtones...

As a Fenerbahce fan, I like seeing Jay Jay get a goal, but the Hammers have left themselves a mountain to climb.

            Up WHam!

I see Crystal Palace and Gillingham have finished the first division with another season of mid-table mediocrity. Well done lads, us fans can't stomach the stress of nail biting relegation/promotion battles.

West Ham are in big trouble now.

And Sunderland lose their 11th straight game in the league! ..... at home! .... to West Brom!
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Hope the Hammers stay up. They have been in the premiership since at least 85? Longer?

I wanted to see them play the first time I went to London. (The decision was influenced by a hot NZ bird who ran the local coin-op laundramat and was a West Ham supporter. ) Unfortunately West Ham were away that weekend, so I went to see Arsenal instead.

yeah 2-0 to arsenal away from home today at middlesbrough shame about united winning at blackburn, but you can't have everything.

congrats to liverpool for winning the mersey derby. i wouldn't laugh too loudly btw FP, spurs losing 2-0 at home to man city yesterday

i'm tempted to say west ham have had it, they really need to win all their last 4 games, which is a hell of a task.

Any possibility of premiership football coming back to BBC someday (soon)?

Well we're well and truly screwed now...

Not only did we lost, which was a very, very, very bad thing to do but ALL the other teams we were hoping to catch won as well...

                            Aaaaargh!

And the worst bit of poetic justice will be watching 'Arry Redknapp's Portsmouth get promoted as we slide into obscurity in the opposite direction - WAAAAAH!
