It'll all really kick-off in regatta week, for seven days a pleasant little town becomes like the seventh circle of hell ... only with more toupees and shoulder pads.

Oh and the local council's total inability to finish the paving in the town square is a scandal. All the money and an expensive antique lampost have gone missing, the construction work is a couple of years overdue and the whole thing looks ****e anyway.

Still, it really is a nice place.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Yeah, I know about the regatta I've been working here 5 years.

The town square looks worse than it did before they started.

It's bloody boiling up here in Scawby. And I've just spent the last 5 hours outside mowing lawns and shovelling soil.

Thank god I'm off to the pub in about half an hour.

Clear skies, not sure about the temperature now, but it was 24C at midday, so probably got up to around 27C by mid-afternoon. We don't have many days in Britain when it's cooler inside the house than outside - especially in April??!!

                        Appropriately named, ColdWizard.
                        83. PERFECT temperature.
Won't be too long until it's 30 degrees hotter than that here.
                        Now that's far too hot.

20C (or 68F for all the Americans out there ). The past four weeks have been the best spell of weather we've had in Ireland for years. Blue skys, warm and dry.

So instead of sitting inside studying for my Immunopharmacology test tomorrow I sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Oh boy, that's one decision I'll rue by tomorrow morning.

What subjects does your immunopharmacology test cover?
