I also loved this one piece on PBS' The News Hour when they had a segement prewar about the string of municipalities passing statements against the war. They focused on this small Oegon twon, and during the discussion the president of the City Council, who opposed the anti-war resolution, stated that "it had been found that many of the hijackers came from Iraq"
So fine, a few stupid people; there are people going to anti-war protests wearing tinfoil, do you think they speak for a majority of protesters?

I want an actual link to the aforementioned poll.
    Unbelievable!

I'd say the billions of dollars expended by the US and UK to put the smackdown on the Taliban isn't included in this figure, so take that into account.

However, the pledges made by the international community are certainly impressive.

Where is China on this list? *cough* *cough*

How does pro-war all of a sudden became "pro-democracy?" Last I heard, establishing a "democracy" wasn't a goal of this aggression. It's supposed to "disarm" Saddam Hussein.

Which, of course, seems quite ironic so far as no NBC weapons have been found.

The victims of he warfare, though, are the people of Afghanistan. Afghanistan should be the prototype UN resonstruction effort.

That's only 38 mil through that particular source.

                  And where is China at?
