If it's your first year in school, you may be be able to get away with appling for financial aid late. I did my first year and I got full Federal and state grants. You won't get suplimentary grants, but those two should be enough to get you into a good state school, on top of any loans you will be eligible for.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Thank you everyone for your ideas and support, i very much appreciate it. Ive been looking into things, and it might not be too bad after all. Some good things will definately come of this, i just do not know what exactly...
becasue of this, my feelings have turned from apprehension and anxiety (and a little bit of failure and depression), to almost of an excitement or thrill. Ill let you guys know ho0w things turn out over the months and years to come (as im quite certain i wil be a permanent fixture of OT for now on... it seems to be the only constant in my life right now )
please feel free to continue to post similar problems from the past, present, or future, or any other help one might be able to give
Thanks again

Krammerman, im sorry to hear about this whole debacle...ive gone through a little bit of the same, although all rejection was my own fault, not that of a board that reviews everything.
3 years ago after i dropped out of high school, i thought i was going to spend the rest of my life living at home and working ****ty jobs. i was depressed about that prospect and for the next year and a half about i crawled into a little hole of fulltime work and sleep after 2 semesters at community college. after working for about 6 months fulltime at round table pizza i realized that school was neccesary to success.
i went back and did alright but i was kind of pissed that i had to do so much for so little of what i wanted to do in school. I basicly was working towards and Associate of the Arts for electronic music, but only taking 6 classes relating specificly to audio production. i was demotivated by the idea that the next 2 years of my life was going to be spent living at home, working somewhat towards what i wanted.
well i quit JC and worked at UPS for about 9 months loading packages in trucks...hard honest work where i met a lot of people like me, at a crossroads in life. I basicly saw that hard work is the key to success and knowing the right people and how to work with them will help immensily. i also found out how to budget my life according to what i want.
about january i found out my dad was moving to seattle, and that i wouldnt be having a place to stay down here, so i figured hell, ill apply to the art institute (with the suggestion from my mom). i got in despite my past (although they arent really that hard to get into).
now starting july im going to a great school, living with like minded people, and getting started on my life as an adult.
so my advice is, dont let anything set you back, turn it around into something good. sometimes you wind up somewhere else and great after everything was lost."I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui
