AJ obviously gives the Arab view of the war, so of course it will be pro-Iraqi.

I mean at the same time several Arab nations are pivitol bases for this attack, the Arab league denounces the war (do you really think the rulers of Kuwait, Qatar, Dubhai, baharian, and the UAE voted against such a move?).

AJ is like Fox news, and we know how mnay people here trust thier unbiased and clear reporting.

Question, has anyone here actually seen a translated al-jazeera report or read an article in english or is the only thing we're going on what we hear in the news or from the White House? Just curious cause I've never been able to see it for myself.

Good article, http://www.msnbc.com/news/643471.asp. Apparently AJ gets it from both sides. Found on a google search it was banned from Bahrain for having a zionist bias.

They didn't get thrown out - read the article. 1 of their reporters was thrown out and another restricted, and they are understandably upset by that action, and are now responding to that by limiting their coverage.

Though I've not watched it, it is my understanding that AJ, while certainly attempting to give the Arab side of the story, has a lot of BBC-trained professional reporters, and is several orders of magnitude better than any other news organization in that part of the world.

I just heard AJ threatened to do no reporting from Iraq unless all of their reporters were allowed to stay and work unmolested. Supposedly that worked and the expulsion was rescinded. That was on the radio, anyone see this in print?

I haven't seen that yet. All the articles I've seen today talk about how stupid it was of Iraq to expel them because it severed thier link with Arab opinion.

Arrian - you are messing up the sensationalism! To keep pace with the war journalism you have to take a simple story, like this one and completely screw up the facts!

It has been amazing how many simple things like this have gotten completely mis-reported in the media. It makes me wonder how they ever get any facts correct.
