  • God will help those who hlep them selfs

    Looks like we've helped our selfs in someway because scientist have discovered a while ago why we age and they have managed to make worms that usualy live 2 weeks live 4 months. They plan to have medication out within 15 years that would make us live twice our age. Meaning that when you are 40 you would have the body of a 20 year old and when your a 100 you have the body of a 50 year old. All this depending on when you start to take that medication.
    So if I would start taking it today, I'm 25, I would end up living up to 125 years of ages but having the body of a 75 year old. I think that's great. I would love that! If it took 360 million years for evolution to make me, I'll certainly double my time here. All this being assured that I have no physical consequences of course.

    Are you for it?

        Aging in multicellular animals is to a large a side effect of defenses against cancer. There are multiple mechanism to limit cell divison. This means that cell quit replacing themselves after a while and worn and damge tissues are not replaced. This is necessary and selected for, because withit, must multiceellular creature would die of cancer before breeding age. Thus this part of biological mortality, rather than being integral to existance, part of a specific defense mechanism. If the thread of cancer were removed, then humans could evolve (or be engineer) to delete this part of mortality.

          Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

                No cancer==no evolution

                Human's already have the least amount of cancers of any animal species.

                  Dying at 125 with a body/mind of 75 is my definition of a good death. I'm in.
