        Certainly. They might get some ground troops off before they're wiped out, however, so we could see some badass Sardaukar-Storm Trooper battles.

                  Does it really matter? The Ewoks didn't have any armor support either and they did pretty well. Plus, the Storm Troopers will be in for a nasty shock the first time they fire a laser at shielded Sardaukar...
