I am sick of this game the Wh keeps playing about Saddam's fate: unless they know he is somehow incapacitated or dead, they should work under the assumption he is just fine, and move on with it.
As for the SCUD issue: I agree with Kontiki. Saddam's best possible strategy is to use nothing banned, so that the impression grows that he was telling the truth but the US and UK had other plans...If you don't like reality, change it! me
