Berz: I guess so. Though I doubt a legitimate rookie will be available on the waiver wire until 15 games are up... Hey, there are 162 games... 15 is nothing . If a rookie is available on the waiver wire before then, I bet Yahoo will include the position he is listed at as his primary position.

And yes, Teixeira is also subject to the Baldelli Rule.

I have some questions: when does the waiver process begin and how does it work? Does it start right away once the draft is done? Do we have to go in order or is it first come first serve?
Do we just post what we want and whomever posts first gets that player?

Hmmm... Bret Meyers isn't in Yahoo's list either. Well, Peacemaker you get the benefit of the Baldelli rule as well.

So vlad gets Baldelli, Chris gets Acevedo, Bezerker gets Teixeira and Peacemaker gets Meyers when they come on waivers.

Waivers works based on record, you go to 'Available Players', click on 'ADD' and it'll take you to your lineup and you have to 'DROP' on of your players. If the guy is on waivers (in the beginning and when a player is dropped), he will be restricted from being picked up immediatly for 2 days. If there are numerous claims for him, then the team with the lowest record gets him. The FIRST waiver claims (after the draft) will be weighted by the opposite of the 1st round of the draft, which means, you, Berz are first and basically will get any waiver players you want for the this first waiver time.

Cool, will we all get some kind of notification when a player is sought through the waiver process? Maybe we can post attempts to pick up players on waivers here so everyone will know what's going on.
