Whats kinda scary is that by the same logic you could justify a "regime change" in the US. After all, AL won more popular votes, neither candidate even represents a majority of the American people. With massive worldwide protests, it is clear the US is a threat to international peace, past actions are a proof of that, going back to the nuclear attacks in 1945.

Scary how much a regime change in the US makes sense....

Then hate the Republicans, not Americans... there's a difference between supporting the war and supporting the troops overseas. I'm probably the biggest Bush-hater around, but I've also got two buddies in the Marines. I'll fly my American flag high, despite the fact some dumbass president is tarnishing it.

again comparing america to nazi germany. when we start systematically killing the Iraqi people for no reason, come back and yell at me.

If you don't support the war, thats fine. It's going to happen, we're going to win. But I've seen people wear shirt saying "I hope the Taliban wins!" (a little dated, but still). I know tass hasn't done that (yet) but the fact remains that the war is going to happen.

Also, comparing America to Nazi Germany is an act of pure ignorance, in any case.

The act of invading, especially the entrance of an armed force into a territory to conquer.
A large-scale onset of something injurious or harmful, such as a disease.
                An intrusion or encroachment.

Or would the US Army leave their guns at home?

Not only that : it is his duty as an American and as a free man to voice his concern, to try and rally as many people as he can to his point of view and try to stop this from happening.

People who usually make such stupid comparisons have no idea what Nazi Germany was like.

#1 doesn't apply, as US troops wouldn't be moving in to conquer Iraq.

I haven't been following the other thread-jack... but going into Iraq is an invasion. Regardless of it's intentions, an invasion is an invasion.

Tass never said that he hated Americans, he implied that he could no longer support the actions of his country, and as a result, he has been told in no uncertain terms to go back to the motherland, by left-leaners no less.

I cannot speak for whether he supports "the troops". But I do think that one can hope that nothing bad happens to the troops overseas, and still hope that the US does successfully invade. That is the position that I hold at least. I sincerely hope that nothing bad happens to any troop, whether American, British, or Iraqi. But if the US does invade, I do not hope that it is successful in it's ambitions.

                                What would they be doing?

                                Conquer:

To defeat or subdue by force, especially by force of arms.
To gain or secure control of by or as if by force of arms: scientists battling to conquer disease; a singer who conquered the operatic world.
To overcome or surmount by physical, mental, or moral force: I finally conquered my fear of heights. See Synonyms at defeat.

The US would be imposing its will on the territory and people of Iraq, given that they would not reasonably be able to set up a legitimate government in the time between exile and entrance of US forces.

1, 2 and 3 apply in this case. Would you like to keep trying?
