Stefu, Well he has denied that those lightnings are SS tattoo. In his book he says he got in trouble with gang co-ordinators who thought he belong to Arayans. So, if you don't have any facts on it, please don't say it's a fact. I have those same lightinings in my army insignia, and they sure as hell don't have anything to do with SS.

I think he is racist, but I doubt he is a nazi. I VERY much doubt it. Also he has some good ideas and views too, but he is a bit racist too, so it stains his career very much. I don't like him too much, but thinking he is a dangerous nazi who will start some kind of bizarre agenda of his own is way off.

Halme has been in a tabloid-controlled (don't get me wrong, it was completely valid test, it wasn't the worst tabloid on the market which made it) IQ-test. He scored 121. He's not an idiot. He just doesn't know a **** about political work.

He's against goverment control, so I must disagree, he's not a nazi, or at least by the definition what I'm using of National Socialists.

Halme is a guy with lots of talk and no walk. When we combine this with the fact that he's never in his life been participiating in politics, and knows nothing of them, we can safely say that he'll be a completely useless nuisance, filled with lots of anti-immigrant and (mainly) anti-homosexual rhetorics.

Still, he got ovet 16 500 votes in Helsinki. If you would know the way the general elections are held in here, you would realise that it's a ****load of votes. Erkki Tuomioja, for example, scored below 9 000.

He is definitely NOT a nazi. He is a racist, but NOT a nazi. I think we know him better, and I'm sure he does not idolize Hitler or would like to be thought as nazi.

Pretty charismatic in interviews, usually, when using such lots of generally quite witty insults towards liberals - usually it works pretty well on the general Finnish audience, but sometimes it goes over the top - in fact, so much, that it isn't funny anymore, it's just oxymoron. Also, sometimes he's mildly drunk during interviews and goes a bit more over the top. Great entertainment, however.

I agree with you. I still don't think he truly is a nazi. He might be called one, but I think he is just racist. That's not positive either.

He is relatively intelligent as compared to stupid. He did ok, better than average person in that test. That doesn't make him wise or good politician or that his views are correct. Just that he is not that stupid. By this I don't mean his views naturally. They don't seem to be very intelligent .

I don't agree with your view that he drives for 'if you can't see... ' etc. He said he'd like to go after tough criminals. Drug dealers etc, give them tough punishments. I didn't hear anything about punishing users and small time people. And he said that after that is being taken care of, the streets will be safer too.
That's my own interpretation of it though, so I don't know what he really meant.
Ok, I stop here because I don't want to sound like I actually support this guy

Hm. Aamulehti (Finnish newspaper, not one of those tabloid kinds) tells that Halme insulted the President, Halonen, in a radio interview yesterday. She won't be pressing charges on slander, however. There is nothing official on what exactly Halme said in that interview, but some say that he, uhm, questioned the sexual preference of the President.
