Dilbert is funny, but it doesn't really have the same sense of timelyness that Bloom County has. I haven't read Pogo.

Bloom County was willing to rip through anything that Breathed felt like ripping. Yet most of the characters are memorable.

I only really remember Dilbert and Dogbert from Dilbert.

    Plus some were just funny:

Calvin and Hobbes was lame, any comic that uses animals as main characters is pret....uh.....um.......

I mean Calvin and Hobbes was pretty good too, especially their use of a stuffed animal as a main character.

Chegitz has good taste in cartoons.

Powerpuff Girls is good, but you know what hasn't been mentioned yet? Darkwing Duck. The terror that flapped in the night, the something something of the something...
