Alfred J. Kwak was made in the early nineties, I think... and even if it wasn't, it was shown in Finland in the nineties. That show rocked. Pinky and Brain was good too, and I remember watching Freakazoid every now and then.
Give me Alfred J. Kwak dubbed or subbed in Finnish or subbed in English, or give me death!
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!
I've heard good things about Clone High but I disdain from watching MTV - maybe I'll DL the eps.
If you're interested in some of these shows check out www.dapcentral.org - It's the Digital Archive Project, they're converting certain series' that can be dl'ed using a specific server on eDonkey.

Daria had it's moments, like the entire series (I might be a bit biased from downloading and watching Daria episodes all week, I admit...)
Daria was awesome! I was told by my friends that shw was a female version of me. Of course, they cancelled the show the week after I discovered it.
Although your post has given me an interesting idea...
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
Okay, most of the really good ones have been mentioned.
The Tick
The Critic
Daria
Dilbert
Pinky and the Brain, Futurama, Family Guy, those weren't bad either.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started in the late '80s, but was on the air in the 90s. Not sure if those were new episodes or not, though.
But you heretics are missing a couple important ones.
Duckman.
Eek! the Cat.
How could you forget those?
Currently, Invader Zim is the best. Although I probalby can't say currently about it, since it keeps getting cancelled. Not sure what the absolute most current status is.
Now, if you want to add anime to the list...

I completely agree. Tho it was marketed as a children's cartoon, it was high quality, for batman fans of all ages... not childishly corny, like most children's cartoons, just batman corny, heh.
I never liked Eeek! The Cat... something about it just bugged me...

Tick and Eek were my favs. A friend and I are always exchanging "Spoon!" and "It never hurts to help!" inside jokes. The "Galactus" episode really cracked me up!
I do enjoy Dexter, PPG.
Duckman, Pinky and the Brain, and The Critic were good, what little I saw of them.
For print comics, nobody beats Bloom County except maybe Dilbert and Pogo.
