  • Okay, that should do it. Is on base percentage in there? I suppose it becomes redundant if hits and walks are in. What about total bases? That's kind of important for those extra base hitters.

    • OBP + Slugging Percentage (OPS) is there, so I thought it wouldn't make much sense to include each seperately.

Total Bases was what I originally put in instead of HRs.

      • Since you offered my team to up to Guynemer, and he accepted... I thought it best. And Imran, this is the only league I've quit... and only because you found a replacement... Unlike you who just stops playing when you aren't doing well

        Good luck guys.
        Keep on Civin'

            • Ok, cya Ming, maybe next year.

That's fine, Imran. Unless anyone can think of another category that is relevant and not redundant.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The San Diego Padres lost another star Friday when slugger Phil Nevin dislocated his left shoulder.

The left fielder was injured while making a diving catch of Brian Daubach's sacrifice fly in the fourth inning of a 2-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox and is out indefinitely.

The Padres will also be without Trevor Hoffman, their All-Star closer, for the first half of the season because of shoulder surgery.

"I'm sick to my stomach," manager Bruce Bochy said. "It's devastating. It started with Trevor and now Phil."

Nevin was in obvious pain as trainers from both dugouts and teammates ran to his aid in the outfield.

He stayed on the ground for several minutes before being helped off the field. X-rays were negative, and Nevin was to undergo further tests Saturday in Phoenix.

Nevin, who was shifted to the outfield this season, batted .306 with 41 homers and 126 RBI on 2001. He missed 35 games last season with a broken left arm and had only 12 home runs and 57 RBI.

Before this year, Nevin had not played the outfield since 1999.

He was replaced in left field by Brian Buchanan.

"Him and (first baseman Ryan Klesko) and (Hoffman) are the leaders of this clubhouse," Buchanan said. "It's tough on the whole team."

Bochy didn't even want to discuss a possible replacement for Nevin yet.

"I really don't want to speculate on things like that right now," Bochy said. "We have some options, but I don't want to go down that road until we have a chance to find things out."

                              That hurts
