If he wishes, he can leave that pick as Baldelli and then get only crack at him when he comes on the wire.

Umm...what does that mean? Yahoo has incomplete team rosters? And what do you mean by "comes on the wire"? Does that mean a player, let's say a rookie who hasn't made the team but is trying, won't be recognised by yahoo until he's officially on the team and playing in regular season games?

Well seeing how there aren't official team rosters yet, you can't blame Yahoo. They have players that played last year, but do not have the players that haven't played in the majors at all.

It isn't just limited to them, however. Every Fantasy League I've been in has had the same problem.

Okay, so we are warned, taking a guy trying out runs the risk he won't make the team, much less start. I assume vlad took him thinking he'll make the team, must be a hot prospect. Why don't we resume picking and if he wants, he can take 2 guys on his next turn if he doesn't want that guy.

Well, there is the available players page where you can type in names to see if they are available for drafting.

I agree: keep drafting and vlad gets Baldelli if/when he becomes available. He was vlad's fourth outfielder anyway, so it's not like he can't wait for Yahoo to add him to the available players.

Yeah they just announced yesterday that Baldelli and Carl Crawford made the team so when rosters get adjusted I can pick him up. He is just a personal favorite so I had to have him. He was minor league player of the year last year and Sweet Lou will manage him to be a great player, well I hope anyway
