Byelorus claims to have lost the highest % of people during the war, but it forgets that its losses were Poles and Jews, and I think it adds the losses on the grounds it acquired from Poland after the war. Whatever Herreson. I was just pulling that out as a basis for comparison in order to say WOW, 80% losses are really high! If Poland had similar losses, fine, but that doesn't matter much in the context of this thread.

A half, 3mln, were Jews or people with Jewish roots.
They were Polish citizens, and as such they count as Poles.
Again and again I remind You that large part of Jews were muchly polonised. One Jewish party opposed treating Jews as a national minority even.

That bit of land is pretty White Russian too, my family comes from there (I'm descended mostly from Russo-Japanese War draft dodgers) and they're definately not Polish.the grounds it acquired from Poland after the war.Stop Quoting BenComment
