This thread makes me think of the two "gay guys" in Seinfeld who continuously bullied Krammer and the bunch... They were funny.

I use to have a big misconception about gays until I met my wife, who has a lot of gay friends. Since meeting them I have become good friends with many of them, and would never do anything to any one purly because they are gay.

Agree with Shi, although I once argued the other side. Intent is already interwined with the criminal code. Hate crimes are a particularily vicious and should be treated as such. Sad to see that they still exist.
