Name That Language European Minorities Special Edition

Ladin, is a jewish language of sorts, IIRC.
Right. Ladino is a Spanish Jewish (Sephardic) language. It's the language spoken by Jews who were expelled from Spain to North Africa and the Levant in 1492.

Whew. I had to google but you're right about Ladin, like in Buck's #3. However, the Jewish language that Azazel (and I) confused with Ladin is indeed Ladino, and matches my description. Here's an example of Ladino from about.com:
En komparasion kon las duras sufriensas ke pasaron los reskapados de los kampos de eksterminasion nazistas en Gresia, se puede dizir ke las sufriensas de los olim en el kampo de Kipros no fueron muy grandes, ma despues de anyos de vida en los kampos de konsentrasion, en teribles kondisiones, eyos kerian empesar en una mueva vida en Erets Israel i sus planos eran atrazados agora por unos kuantos mezes.

Oh, and could you please tell us WHERE all those minorities live?
Furlan - Northwest Italy, also Slovenia and Austria. Centered around the city of Udine.
Ladin - In the southern part of South Tirol, Italy, ie. almost as far north as you can come.
Saterland Frisians- in the far north-west of Germany, between Bremen and the Dutch border. Saterland frisian is spoken only in four tiny villages.
Arumanians- spread out in tiny enclaves throughout the balkans, with populations in Greece (largest), Makedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania and southern Romania.
"I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui
'I'm fairly certain that a ban on me punching you in the face is not a "right" worth respecting." - loinburger
oh and Buck, that Karlsson-book is really hard to find on-line, but he's apparently coming out with a new book in april, and it seems to be about the exact same topic? http://www.wwd.se/boknyhet/91-46-20034-7.htm

Well done, all!
Det Lilla Europa came out in 1992, published by the right-wing thinktank Timbro. Ingmar Karlsson being a pretty typical swedish Social Democrat really probably wanted to publish an updated version without the adverse political baggage. It's also quite a slim volume and could probably do with an expansion.
