Afghanistan is going to be the site of an oil pipeline that carries oil from the Caspian sea to the port of Karachi.
Dissident, drop the stereotypes about "anti-war types". I'm against the war because of Bush, mainly. I don't trust him as a commander-in-chief, I don't trust how he's going to spend the money he gets for war, I don't trust his motives, or his vision for a post-Saddam Iraq. Without Iraq, his presidency is nothing but a sh1tty economy and tax cuts to the rich. This isn't about liberation, this isn't about curbing terror. It's about Bush vs Saddam. And personally, I don't feel American lives(and Iraqi lives) and 100 billion dollars are worth his little ego trip.
I can't speak for all people opposed to the war, but we definitely don't all have the same reasons for being against it. And stereotypes are ignorant; you're much better than that, Diss.
