I have only downgraded my mousedriver, but to the same mousedriver I used to use... (Though before the formatting I had new mousedrivers)

You'd be amazed how much difference something silly like that can make. Restore that to your previous setting and it may be OK...Speaking of Erith:

It seems to me like some application is taking control of the foreground.
I would try downloading an anti-virus or adaware and scanning your system.
I've recently scanned my gf's computer for adware. I found thousands of little apps draining her system resources. Needless to say, her computer is 50% faster today.Comment
