Starbucks mochas, etc. are crappy (relative to any decent coffee place). But it's so damn convenient since they've got that Barnes & Nobles deal going, so I get it far too often. I don't go to Starbucks either because there is a really good mom & pop coffee shop/ bakery right down the street from me that has great coffee and tea. They also make old-fashioned Italian sodas.

Is there any good coffe in the US ? When I was in San Diego, I didn't drink any decent coffee in the two weeks I've spent there...
