Ah, we're on 2 wrongs don't make a right now? Well... According to my code of ethics, THAT RULE IS FOR F*CKING LOSERS
Anyway, I usually only play the ignorance back when one party is obviously running away from the needed apology and/or explanation. That is one of the more cowardly things I can't stand for - so it's seen as a responsibility to drag them out with like poison, if needed!
So you'd rather cloud your own point by throwing out a slur? Terrific. So will you call a black person you are arguing with a ****** just because you're ticked at them?
Slurs said out of anger aren't any more justifiable than ones said with premeditated malice. At least you shouldn't get indignant when gay posters here get offended by your use of them.
Hey, Flamer: I use slurs not for my own enjoyment, but to make the poster in question (who is currently ignoring confronting the situation out of cowardice) take the point seriously and respond as quickly as they should (or it will get worse, as it's quite easy to make this transgression something that won't go away!). Keep in mind that I will only make use of these slurs when the offender was the first to use a comparable slur or ridiculuously offensive social assumption. I will often break past this rule to include idiots bent on turning the conversation at hand away from the issue and into a semantic mind-f*ck; one meant TO LOOK OUT FOR THE PERSONAL RIGHTS OF EVERYONE BECUASE THEY KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO HAVE SLURS USED AGAINST THEM
Does this basic policy yet make any sense to you, or should I bring "******" out for some flight hours?
(and please use another gay/black discrimination comparison, if possible. Those aren't at all hackneyed and used poorly by every single gay activist wannabe on the block)
Hey, if you're too stupid to see that your use of slurs is just going to reorient the argument around the slur than any valid point you may have had, then that's your problem.
And you can trot out any slurs you'd like, it will only reinforce the perception that you really do mean them, which won't reflect on anyone poorly but you.
And if you had decent comprehension skills, you'd understand that my "******" comparison had nothing to do with comparing the plight of blacks and homosexuals, but was rather demonstrating another situation in which one could hypothetically attack a person via slur based on who they are, not what they have said. MrFun may have made an asinine assumption, but he certainly didn't use a slur against people based on their identity.
So which is it now? ******, ass pirate, fudge packer, or queer? Or ********er or fairy? I've heard them all, and from some people who mattered more to me than you, so by all means fire away.
Awwww that sounded so stern and sincere, have a tear in your eye yet? Nice names there, but whatever you've been called in your oh so dark past - I really don't give a f*ck!
I'll cover the basis of direction in one of the major aspects I've been hinting at all along:
As I've witnessed from a handful of users on this forum, being gay means a lot of wasted time pouting indignance and raising arms to whatever bit of political ignorance one can find, only to refer the pains of that cause as relevant to your own.
Now think of Mr. Fun as a poster, and vehemently indignant just might come to mind. Apply his recent actions, and so comes a rather ironic example just ripe to pick!
Now note the very topic from which this discussion arises. Perhaps imagine that I do or don't really give a sh*t of the topic at hand, but rather the integrity of a poster who feels it's more than ok to act against supposed values and character, when a core of beliefs seemingly isn't in harms way.
I could go on... but give you a lot of credit - and this is more than boring me now.
For someone so critical of other people being indignant about something, you sure make a spectacle of being indignant yourself.
If I really gave a rat's ass about what you thought or felt, I'd be disappointed, I suppose. But it's not like I had high expectations for you anyway. You've never demonstrated an ability to take anything seriously or to ever consider the feelings of others in your behavior here or elsewhere, so why should anyone care if you're upset over someone's apparent lack of consistency? Since when were you a paragon of consistency yourself?
If you want to argue with MrFun about his idiotic statement, that's great. But if you choose to do it via using a slur, just don't cry when other people take offense to it as well. After all, I can only assume you're using it to hurt him with it. And that's just a despicable way of making any point, no matter how valid.

Zykla did take offense to it. If you haven't been paying attention, he does take drugs (or so he says), so Fun blaming it on drugs is akin to him like a slur against him.
