I do not know if there were people under the influence of drugs in addition to alcohol. But if that was the case, it makes the loss of lives even more senseless. Yes, a fight and the reaction to the fight started the stampede -- but what if there were people under the influence of drugs?

The use of drugs alters people's perceptions of their surroundings, and alters their behavior. It causes people to do stupid things.

From what I understand, this 'illegal' club was one of the major spots in Chicago, the place all the big names in rap went to party when in town. It was operating in plain view with the full knowledge of the City of Chicago.

Anyway, I usually only play the ignorance back when one party is obviously running away from the needed apology and/or explanation. That is one of the more cowardly things I can't stand for - so it's seen as a responsibility to drag them out with like poison, if needed!
