You know you are playing right into our trap. With the advent of Gorbachev and since then, you have fed yourself with our lies. You put on the table treaties for world security, which we signed, and are in complete breach of. For example, during the CFE treaty, we moved all our modern equipment east of Urals, leaving only old machinery and scraps of to throw away. During the START treaties, we hid our nukes or just didn't allow anyone check them. Yet, in return, you gave us billions in foreign aid, all of which goes into our BLOATED military budget.
While you were disarming, we were modernizing. We are now building Topols, super fighters and underground bunkers and industrial complexes the size of metropolises. Our army is good, and can increase to old Soviet size in a few months, just as Yeltsin showed you in 1999 during the Balkan crisis.
Now, just because you perceive our ineptness in affairs(particularly military), doesn't mean that's the case. We have our reasons for everything, including the collapse of the Soviet Union and that incident regarding Chechnya in '94.
Everything has a price, even if that includes us "Breaking with the Past" to Rebuild For The Future.
