We shall see about this one... While you may think he is a good choice, and don't blame him for his bland record in Seattle... I think he is terrible choice. He did a miserable job in Seattle... So it looks like SF has made two awful choices now... First, they got rid of a good coach, and now they have replaced him with a NFL failure...Keep on Civin'

Mooch had losing record in college (his only head coaching experience) before the 9ers hired him. They were screaming bloody murder back then as well. The 9ers will survive and thrive.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

Because Mike Holgrem and Tom Flores, Superbowl winning coaches that were after and before Erickson in Seattle really had great sucess in Seattle .
The Niners are fine. They'll win the division again.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
