What about the ISS and the astronauts there, they'll have to send a shuttle to replace them or somehting quite soon, before the investigation on this disaster is over.
And damnit! Why do we still use 22 years old shuttles?! Who cancelled the X-38?

The ISS can be supplied by unman russian supply shuttles.
NASA has a $3 Million a year budget as I said before, they can't afford it. Unfortunatly this might be what it takes to increase their budget, much like the FAA which don't fix **** unless there is blood.... lots of blood.
Buzz is already on FNC and just said that the next gen. shuttle would have an escape pod/ejection seats.I drink to one other, and may that other be he, to drink to another, and may that other be me!

"On launch day, a piece of insulating foam on the external fuel tank came off during liftoff and was believed to have struck the left wing of the shuttle. NASA said as late as Friday that the damage to the thermal tiles was believed to be minor and posed no safety concern during the fiery decent through the atmosphere."Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. I don't see how an Arab could have done anything. Unless it was sabotage but that's unlikely since everyone has to have a security clearance to work on the shuttle.
Those shuttles are getting very old though so it is possible that after 20 years of service they're just getting old and worn out.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
