      As far as it being part of a show, not just some stupid prank gone awry, filing a lawsuit or other legal action needs to be taken to put an end to an insanely bad idea. I agree with Alexnm's point on "Inductive Reasonings."

        While undeniably a stupid thing to do, I'm with those who also feel sorry for the woman. She was apparently egged on by the organizers of the show and maybe the crowd also, and I can't help feeling that a considerable part of the people I know would have done the same...

          I hate frivolous lawsuits as much as anyone else, but this could be a case where she was supposed to be part of an 'act' and something went wrong. Why should she have to pay? She didn't sign a waiver, did she?
