For the americans out there who may not follow the Grecians, they are at the foot of the Third Division table, which is the equivalent of being a really bad side in american baseball's Single A league. That would qualify to some as being considered minor league.

Up the ECFC, home of the real St. James' Park. And may the force be with you.
      Be the bid!

My home team Chester City had all kinds of trouble when an American bought them, he insisted they trained as American footballers .. ha ha ha .. they got relegated to (what you call the minor leagues), and the second he went .. we started winning again ..

thankfully Uri has stayed far away .. Exeter will be taking Chesters place next season anyway

Reminds of the story about when the Gary Linekar adverts (where he is stealing Walkers crisps) were first made. The American directors of Walkers were staunchly opposed to a national sports star promoting theft of their product. They didn't understand the humour of the situation.

... which reminds me of the Gareth Southgate Pizza Hut adverts (with the bag on his head)... and then the Murray Walker and Damon Hill Pizza Hut ads...

              All good fun.
