For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
Whoa - I've played Sega's NFL2K series and the Madden series and while I will admit that Sega's got something going there were too many things that ruined it.
1. Constantly shifting player attributes - which seemed to only be affected by wins and losses. There are guys like Cory Dillon that still kick ass even if they are on crappy teams.
2. Free Agency and the resigning of players wasn't very clear. know this is vague but as I recall it didn't seem like an intuitive system and consequently I lot a lot of players and then wasn't able to get free agents I wanted.
3. The turbo sucks. I want a button I press that makes him go faster, not a button that charges and then I hit it and he might accelerate.
Plus EA has one game that will NEVER be outsold or outdone - NCAA Football. Many times it is better than Madden, even when Madden contains an engine that is one year better.
I do like and appreciate the competition though, it only forces EA to get better.
