Yes, I've been using adaware for quite some time to clean my system of nasty spyware. But in a discussion on another forum, it would seem that Adaware is practically dead and useless now. There haven't been any updates since September 24, so there's been a good deal more spyware that's cropped up since then.
So, if you're still runnning adaware (or if you don't have an anti-spyware program to begin with), I'd suggest switching to Spybot: S&D. I just got it, and I find it to be much better than adaware, since it picked up a bunch of stuff adaware never did as well as having integrated update software.
