The Dutch launched an investigation to clarify responsibility. When the results of the investigation were published the Dutch government promtly resigned.

There is currently a worldwide attempt by journalists, lawyers and others to make the American government recognize its lack of legitimacy. In my opinion this a good and civilized way to rid democracies of bad leadership.

The report just says that there have been accusations of war crimes and some people in the civil rights movement have said that there should be an independent investigation.

The impression I get is that if we, as in the United States (either as a private person or as a rep of the government), so much as look at someone wrong or don't "walk the right way," the entire goddamn planet jumps down our throats.

Sorry, but that tends to make me really picky when it comes to allegations of rampant American abuse. You might get testy too, if your country were constantly under a verbal barrage.
