Meaning the turkish cypriote part does not exist since it is not recognized.

When Cyprus will be united they will be 80.000 minority in 770.000 population.

If it will not be united then only (Greek) Cyprus (700.000) will enter the EU.

I hope it is united though.

For the present, this is the most important thing to agree on.

I'm also glad to see the turkish cypriotes agreeing too.

If only they were free to decide for themselves, it would already be united.

The scandal I am referring to somehow involves the 2004 Olympics, 17November, Lebanon, the PM, the infighting of a dynasty of multimillionaires, several other bysinessmen, an editor of the far-right, many journalists, even more lawyers, some blackmails and some bribes.

Nobody has sorted out the chaos yet, but we get an immage of absolute corruption. Solid entertainment if you ask me, just in time to fill the gap until the 17N trials begin in March.

WTF? That's an eclectic mix if I've ever seen one. Greeks certainly do scandals better than Americans.

The Olympics IS a scandal, The whole thing is totally corrupt from the bribery in getting choosen for the site, to cheating of the government judges in the game and
the Hi-tech drug use by competitors (aided by their governements), to the coverup of the financial loss the sponsoring country takes after the pigs have fed at the
                    5 ring tough.

No shame for Greece here, Just dumb to host the Olympics.
