Greece is in the midst of an emerging scandal. Our eyes are glued to our TV sets, so we do not have time for "Evil Capitalist Conservatives". Go play somewhere else.

"Greece is in the midst of an emerging scandal. "

Well to face scandal and to be Greek is practically same.

Greece does not control Cyprus and never will.

Actually the Cypriote and Greek stances are identical in virtualy all matters.

Also the fact that there are two different coutnries actually makes Greece a player of almost the same size as a medium european country in the EU.

(parliementary parity, 1 extra cypriote in the commission, council of ministers etc)

Separate countries are a blessing as it turned out. Just dont tell it to the dictatorship.

of course if the Cypriotes want to unite through a referendum later on it's their choice.
But I'd not reccomend it. It gives Hellenism a much greater weight in international affairs as two countries.

                                Greek Cypriote, not Cypriote.
