  • My comments on the INS registrations

Before I go to work I want to post what I think.......

To those complaining, if you REALLY wanted to become an American then you could understand our concerns.

All your telling me is that you had no intentions of ever becoming an American.

You say that you are unhappy now and don't want to stay because you have to register?

Well, good riddence and don't let the doorknobb hit you on tha azz on your way out

And in case anyone cares, apparently no one was arrested after the initial incident in LA, and all speculations to the contrary were just a big scare tactic perpetrated by borderline criminal immigration lawyers.

And, best news of all, we got our work permission.

                Doc? Right wing?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Yep, being singled out and hounded because of your religion or country of national origin--it's the American way.

I don't know whether you saw the interview on NBC News tonight of two of the detainees who are so disgusted by the violation of their civil rights here that they're leaving the country. A proud day for America.

Richard Reid must be laffing his arse off.

Good to hear. Sounds like things ended as well as one could hope.

Might be the reason they are complaining is because their cover is blown.
