I agree. Running for the presidency is an all or nothing thing these days. These guys rail on each other so hard during the primaries now that there's no way to reconcile them afterwards.

Most members of congress are lawyers.

But few are trial lawyers... which have so bad of a reputation even used car dealers probably are viewed in a higher light.

Edwards has made it quite clear...

I bet that is what Bush I said when Reagan beat him .

As near as I can tell, only republicans hate trial lawyers, because they keep suing their businesses for their misdeeds.

No one starts out running for the vice-presidency. I expect Kerry to get the nomination and then ask Edwards to be his running mate. Kerry is the definate front runner in the race, though if the Democratic electorate actually educates themselves, they may go for Dean, who's actually rather interesting. I'm still predicting Kerry-Edwards to run in 2004, and possibly even beat Shrub.

I think that we have the makings of the ultimate ticket.

Anybody interested in General Wesley Clark? It's rumored he'll announce a candidacy this month. Of course, I don't think he's even announced a party affiliation yet...

It would be a lot more interesting than the Kerry/anybody snorefest is gearing up to be. Of course if MJs nose falls off during a debate, they're toast.

I don't know. Is America ready for a female vice-president?

Ideally, who would you like to see as President?
