Weed triggers depression...

bah... you know how many people smoke weed and they are NOT depressed? now maybe every boy outside the chinese stores smoking weed and crack might actually have had depression before the drug use (i mean living in the city, you got reason to be depressed), but I doubt it... they don't go around mopping around being like I need to discuss this with my therapist... any depression came AFTER drug use as their life got messed up and **** because of the drugs...

and what about the whities in the suburbs? they got no reason to be depressed but they smoke weed and become depressed...

I think it's society's responsibility to prevent you from harming society by becoming a drug addict who don't know what he's doing, whether commiting crimes or neglecting your kids... also, from a moral stand-point, people feel obligated to prevent others from ****ing their lives up... I've said it before and I'll say it again... if no one here in Philadelphia did any drug and nobody had pre-marital sex, in a single generation, Philly would be ridiculously the best place to live... happy homes, no crime, etc.

Hmmmm. Do you mean MDMA? limited side effects? I tend to disagree, it always ****s my head proper for at least a few days to a week... and everyone ive known who has done it often (more than once a week) ends up real emotionally screwed

None of the smokers I knew/know in college are depressed, and that's a sizeable number.

You can punish me and/or moralize after I've done something wrong, like commit a crime (other than doing drugs) or neglect my kids. I still don't see where you get the right to punish me when I haven't even done anything to harm anybody else.

I've used drugs for almost eighteen years now. In what ways have I harmed society through my drug use? What crimes have I committed? What kids have I neglected?

Your problem is you think the majority should be punished for the actions of a minority. Perhaps we should work on creating meaningful lives for people, instead of damning them for trying to have some fun in life.

nah we got jobs in Philly... on the real though, almost nobody in philly is legitimately impoverished... most people is lower middle class, just they waste all their money. buying drugs instead of paying off the mortgage... getting jordans and jerseys instead of buying food... people need to get their priorities straight first and stop ****ing and smoking... we got jobs and it's not hard to make money (i mean some west africans and indians and what not come over here, don't buy nothing excessive, work real hard, and after like five years, they rich as **** and move to the burbs)

Pot doesn't do much or any permanent damage. Some, albeit relatively inconclusive, studies show that full recovery from depression and cloudiness caused hash can achieved if they give up smoking it frequently.

Frequent smokers are more likely to be initially depressed, and more likely to be (even before weeding the meadows) poor and stupid, both major triggers of both depression and substance abuse.

By abuse I mean overuse.

Besides the THC effect of hash seems to have no known neurochemical link to depression.

Just a few points

LSD has no side effects. I love it, its a pity its so unpopular.

I'm one of the few people on this site who is actually real... all I know is philly... I've never done any drugs but you know god damn well I've had first-hand experiences with what drugs do to people.

Frankly, it was you leftist crackers who brought drugs into the cities... not finding nothing wrong with bringing drugs in... I think this is a plot to keep us wasting our money and staying in ****holes...
