Perfectly true, only problem is weed is nowhere near as addictive as cigs and booze. People can waste money on practically anything unfortunately, as you said earlier.but anyway, still... that's my point... people waste their money on drugs when they could spend it on more practical things
Becoming dependant on pot is a consequence of many things, including a lack of motivation. Removing pot from the equation won't neccessarily make anything better.
Its only the really addictive substances that people find hard to live without.

hey I'm not too fond of alchohol either... frankly, I want all foreign liquors to be banned and we keep only Budweiser and other local brewery companies (don't worry about monopolies as with bud, coors, etc. we still got competition)... and then somebody does a fanatical ad campaign to curtail drinking and what not... gov't comes out against it... whatever. and then people won't drink either...
